BenQ Materials and Oculus Announce Strategic Partnership2019-04-16

BenQ Materials contact lens brand, Miacare, and Oculus Private Limited have singned a Strategic Partnership Agreement on April 15, 2019. The partnership business will enable Oculus to distribute and market Miacare contact lenses in Singapore and Hong Kong.
 
BenQ Materials, with its wide-spectrum materials technologies covering polarizer, healthcare and advanced battery materials which has successfully developed into different business areas. With its Miacare brand, BenQ Materials has been dedicated to developing and marketing silicone hydrogel contact lenses in Taiwan, China, India and Southeast Asia. Its patented EautraSil™ technology is the key to bring health and satisfaction to contact lens wearers by enhancing oxygen penetration and wearing comfort.

Oculus Private Limited and its group of subsidiaries have over 30 years of experiences in manufacturing and supplying hydrogel contact lens. It has established FreshKon as a brand of cosmetic contact lens. FreshKon has developed its strong global presence and been acknowledged to be one of the leading contact lenses brand names in Southeast Asia. Oculus also holds membership in the Contact Lens Manufacturers Association (CLMA).
 
The strategic partnership will enable both companies to strengthen regional market penetration. The agreement is also a key step for BenQ Materials and Oculus to develop a broader collaboration of contacts lens business globally. Both companies are dedicated to developing comfortable contact lens products and emphasizing on the services and requirements of clients. The partnership between BenQ Materials and Oculus will tap into the two firms capabilities to develop pioneering solutions for brand development.
